About the event
Sleep Apnea is one of the most misunderstood topics in Pulmonary Medicine. As a sleep physician, we see many patients mistreated/partially treated with PAP devices. PAP should not be a "prescribe and forget" device. We are organising a conference to disseminate knowledge about all the available devices in a uniquely designed Masterclass. We will talk about practical and theoretical aspects of CPAP, AutoPAP, Bilevel PAP (S, S/T, PC), AutoBilevel PAP, VAPS, ASV, and masks.
The masters for this class are true experts in the field of OSA :
International Faculty : Prof. Raphael Heinzer is in charge of the Sleep Laboratory at
CHUV, Lausanne, Switzerland. He is one of the most prolific researchers in the field
of OSA. His work has helped in understanding epidemiology, cardiovascular
complications, and autonomic markers in OSA.
National Faculty: Prof. Ravi Gupta is in charge of the Sleep Laboratory at AIIMS Rishikesh and is one of the most renowned sleep physicians of India.
Dr. Abhishek Goyal has more than 100 publications and has keen interest in OSA research. He has published extensively in OSA; major work include BLESS Cohort, SONA questionnaire. He has also conducted multiple RCTs in management of OSA.
Dr. Saurabh Mittal is in charge of the Sleep Lab at AIIMS New Delhi. He has extensive work on OSA.
