At Graphic Era Hospital, our Radiology department is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide comprehensive diagnostic services. We offer a wide range of advanced imaging modalities, including:

  1. 128 Slice CT-Angio: Our CT-Angio machine offers high-resolution imaging with rapid scanning capabilities, allowing for detailed visualization of blood vessels and organs. This advanced technology aids in the diagnosis and evaluation of various medical conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and traumatic injuries.
  2. Fully Digital 1000 mA X-Ray: With our fully digital X-ray system, we deliver high-quality imaging with minimal radiation exposure. This technology enables us to capture detailed images of bones, organs, and soft tissues, facilitating the diagnosis of fractures, infections, tumors, and other abnormalities.
  3. Portable and Fixed High-Resolution GE Ultrasound: Our ultrasound machines provide high-resolution imaging of internal structures, allowing for real-time visualization of organs, blood flow, and fetal development. Whether it’s performing obstetric scans, abdominal studies, or guided procedures, our ultrasound technology offers versatility and precision.
  4. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging): Our MRI machine utilizes powerful magnets and advanced imaging techniques to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body’s internal structures. With superior soft tissue contrast and multi-planar imaging capabilities, MRI is indispensable for diagnosing conditions affecting the brain, spine, joints, and soft tissues.
  5. ECG (Electrocardiography): Our ECG machine records the electrical activity of the heart, aiding in the diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, and other cardiovascular disorders. Quick and accurate ECG testing is essential for evaluating heart health and guiding treatment decisions.
  6. Echo (Echocardiography): Our Echo machine utilizes sound waves to create real-time images of the heart’s structure and function. This non-invasive imaging technique helps diagnose heart conditions such as valve disorders, heart failure, and congenital heart defects, providing valuable insights for patient management.
  7. TMT (Treadmill Test): Our TMT machine evaluates cardiac function and exercise tolerance by monitoring the heart’s response to physical exertion. This stress test is valuable for assessing cardiovascular fitness, detecting coronary artery disease, and evaluating the effectiveness of cardiac interventions.

Our Radiology department is committed to delivering prompt and accurate diagnostic services. With the most advanced imaging machines and a state-of-the-art facility, coupled with dedicated radiologists and technicians, we ensure quick testing and expedited reporting. Trust Graphic Era Hospital for comprehensive radiology services that prioritize patient care and clinical excellence.

Preparation instructions may vary depending on the specific imaging test. In general, patients may be asked to fast for a certain period before certain tests, avoid wearing metal objects, inform the technologist of any medications or allergies, and follow any additional instructions provided by their healthcare provider.

The turnaround time for receiving imaging test results depends on the type of test performed and the complexity of the study. In many cases, results are available within a few hours to a day after the test is completed. Urgent or critical findings may be communicated to the referring physician immediately.

Our imaging equipment is designed to minimize radiation exposure while maximizing image quality. For tests such as X-rays and CT scans, our protocols adhere to strict safety guidelines to ensure the lowest possible radiation dose without compromising diagnostic accuracy. Pregnant women and individuals with concerns about radiation exposure should discuss their options with their healthcare provider.

The type of imaging test recommended will depend on your specific medical condition, symptoms, and diagnostic needs. Your healthcare provider will determine the most appropriate imaging modality based on clinical indications, and our radiologists will work closely with your provider to ensure that the chosen test provides the necessary diagnostic information.

In most cases, patients are allowed to have a companion accompany them during imaging tests for emotional support. However, for certain tests such as CT scans or MRIs, companions may be asked to wait in a designated waiting area to minimize interference with the imaging process. Please inquire about companion policies when scheduling your appointment.

Many imaging tests are covered by health insurance plans, but coverage may vary depending on your insurance provider and specific policy. It’s recommended to contact your insurance company prior to scheduling an imaging test to verify coverage, obtain pre-authorization if necessary, and clarify any out-of-pocket costs or deductible requirements. Our billing department can also assist you with insurance-related inquiries.
