About
Dr. Deepen Sharma has been trained in pulmonology and critical care at AIIMS Rishikesh and the Himalayan Hospital, Jolly Grant. His training encompasses all types of pleural procedures, including both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as sleep studies, allergy testing, and pulmonary function testing.
He has performed over 500 bronchoscopies, including EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound), bronchial thermoplasty, bronchoscopic cryotherapy, and more than 100 thoracoscopies.
With a special interest in critical care, Dr. Sharma has also served as ICU in-charge at Medicaid Hospital, Amritsar. Passionate about teaching, he regularly conducts classes and CMEs on ventilator management, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and antibiotic use.
Dr. Sharma believes in a holistic approach to patient care, combining clinical expertise with compassionate treatment.
