• Notable past roles include Head of the Department at AFMC Pune and SGPGIMS Lucknow, and Faculty in-charge of Research at SGPGIMS.

• Efficient management of Tsunami disaster in year 2004, in Andamans islands.
• Expert member of the Medical Council of India for the DM (Neonatology) syllabus, curriculum, and examination framework.
