She specialises in gynaecological surgeries, normal deliveries, and prevention of gynaecological cancers, with a focus on adolescent health education. Dr. Bansal holds an MS in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from MLB Medical College, Jhansi, and has served as a senior faculty member in a recognised medical college for more than 19 years. She is also a member of the IMA and is involved with the Red Cross Society.
