Dr. Richa Mittal

About

Dr. Richa Mittal is a distinguished pathologist based in Dehradun and is regarded as one of the eminent cytopathologists and histopathologists in the region. She is known for her academic excellence, dedication to research, and commitment to quality in diagnostic pathology. Dr. Mittal was one of the delegate speakers at CME 2024 on “Quality Control – Pathology” held at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun.

In recognition of her outstanding research contributions, she received the “International Best Researcher Award in the field of Pathology” (IIRA 2022) from the International Society for Scientific Network Awards (ISSN) for her paper titled “Immunoexpression of PTEN, HER2/neu, and Ki-67 in Endoscopic Gastric Carcinoma Biopsies: Their Correlation with Histological Subtypes and One-Year Survival.”

She has actively participated in numerous conferences and workshops focused on haematology, cytopathology, and histopathology. Dr. Mittal also contributed to the Quality Assurance in Clinical Laboratory programme at SGRRIMHS, Dehradun (2018), further emphasising her commitment to laboratory excellence and patient-centred care.
