Dr. Vandana brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her role as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences (GEIMS), Dehradun. Having completed her postgraduation and senior residency at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, she honed her skills through extensive clinical training and academic pursuits.

During her tenure, she underwent rigorous hands-on training in anaesthesia across various surgical specialities, managing patients with a wide range of medical complexities — from ASA I cases to those with intricate cardiac, oncological, neurological, and other non-cardiac conditions. Her experience spans both planned elective procedures and high-pressure emergency scenarios, equipping her with deep clinical insight and adaptability in diverse patient settings.

Dr. Vandana’s commitment to holistic patient care extends beyond the operating room. She excels in providing comprehensive perioperative anaesthetic management, including meticulous preoperative assessment, precise anaesthesia administration, vigilant intraoperative monitoring, and attentive post-anaesthesia care.
