Dr. Raj Pratap Singh is one of the leading Cardiologists in Uttarakhand. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Graphic Era Hospital, Dehradun. Before this, he headed the Department of Cardiology at Kailash Hospital and Heart Institute, Dehradun.

Dr. Singh is recognised as a pioneer for bringing advanced cardiovascular interventions to Uttarakhand and the surrounding regions. He was the first person in the state to successfully perform challenging procedures such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), which is valve replacement without surgery, as well as EVAAR, TEVAR, Retrograde CTO PCI, and MICRA (the leadless pacemaker). He was also the first person to do PDA stenting in both Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

He is an expert in complex angioplasty and stenting and maintains some of the lowest complication rates. His experience includes implanting pacemakers in a wide range of patients, from the youngest (a two-year-old child) to the elderly (over 90 years old). He has a keen interest in Structural Heart disease and routinely performs interventions like device closures for holes in the heart and balloon valve dilations. Dr. Singh is also actively involved in research on cardiovascular disease, having presented papers and posters at various national and international forums. Furthermore, he contributes to social work by regularly holding educational and lifestyle talks and training the public in CPR.
