Dr. Pooja Barak is a trained nephrologist with extensive clinical experience in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She has advanced expertise in the comprehensive management of kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), resistant hypertension, and complex electrolyte and acid–base disorders.
She is highly skilled in dialysis therapies, with significant experience in both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, as well as advanced critical care nephrology procedures such as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Plasma Exchange (PLEX).
Dr. Barak is actively involved in the holistic care of renal transplant patients, including both pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant long-term management. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, ethical, and patient-centric care while maintaining active participation in academic teaching and nephrology research.
