About

Dr. Kumar Parag is a highly experienced anaesthesiologist and academic clinician with expertise in Cardiac Anaesthesia. He completed his MD from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.

With over 17 years of experience, he has served at leading healthcare institutions and developed extensive expertise in cardiac and critical care anaesthesia. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Cardiac Anaesthesia Programme at SGRR and has served as Head of Cardiac Anaesthesia at Max Hospital, Bathinda.

He further enhanced his expertise through an Observership in the Neonatal Post-Operative Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and ECMO Programme at Narayana Health, Bengaluru, gaining specialised exposure to the perioperative and critical care management of neonatal and paediatric cardiac patients.

Currently associated with the Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Kumar Parag serves as the Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology. He contributes to strengthening clinical services, academic activities, and patient care. He also serves as an examiner for MD & PDCC students.
