Dr. Vandana brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her role as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences (GEIMS), Dehradun. Having completed her post-graduation and Senior Residency at the prestigious Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehradun, she honed her skills through immersive training and academic endeavors.
During her tenure, she underwent rigorous hands-on training in Anaesthesia across various surgical disciplines, catering to patients with a wide spectrum of medical complexities, ranging from ASA 1 to those with intricate cardiac, ontological, neurological and other non-cardiac conditions. Her practice encompassed both planned elective procedures and high-pressure emergency scenarios, equipping her with invaluable experience in managing diverse patient profiles.
Dr. Vandana’s commitment to comprehensive patient care extended beyond the operating theater. She excelled in providing perioperative anaesthetic care, encompassing meticulous preoperative assessments, precise administration of anaesthesia during surgery, vigilant intraoperative monitoring, and compassionate post-anaesthesia care.
