About
Dr. Syed Moiz Ahmed is a senior Neonatologist and Paediatrician who has significant clinical and academic experience in both India and internationally.
He has made important contributions to research in Neonatology, with multiple publications and book chapters to his name. His main areas of expertise include newborn ventilation, point-of-care ultrasound in neonatology, and therapeutic hypothermia for birth asphyxia.
Dr. Ahmed is passionate about infection control and antibiotic stewardship in NICUs (Neonatal Intensive Care Units). He also leads NETTSU (Neonatal Tele-Training Program in Uttarakhand), which is an international programme for continuing medical education (CME). He has a charming and pleasant personality, which means he is highly regarded by his colleagues and students.
