Dr. Sanjay Singh Chauhan is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in the treatment of complex knee, hip, and other sports-related injuries. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was trained in one of the best orthopaedic training centres in the country, also known as “Mecca of Orthopaedics”, the KEM Hospital in Mumbai. He was involved as a team physician for FC Barcelona during his fellowship in Barcelona under Dr. Ramon Cugat. Dr. Chauhan has completed fellowships at the top programmes in Europe. He uses minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques that help reduce recovery time. He has a strong focus on joint preservation procedures and cartilage restoration techniques, and the use of PRP in orthopaedics.

Along with his commitment to providing outstanding patient care, Dr. Chauhan believes strongly in the importance of advancing the field of sports medicine through involvement in leadership, advocacy, and education, and is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He is a member of the prestigious European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy & International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), Research Committee.
